Historical WWI Context

A. In the front of the monument is a solder participating in the battle. On the back side of the monument is the family of the solder, on the top is the Hungarian sacred bird. The monument was made by Gyula Král. The inscription on the back side hold 349  WWI solder names. On the basement are the names of 11 WWI veterans.

B. The monument was built in 1924 and have the names of Pestújhely citizens in WWI . The inscription as: Pro Patria 1914-1918 Isten választottjai.
