Monument of Romanian and Russian Heroes in Adjud, Vrancea County, Romania
At the entrance to the town of Adjud, in the cemetery enclosure, there is a historical monument erected by the inhabitants of the city, which reminds the visitors that "Here rest the Romanian and Russian soldiers fallen on these lands in the war that took place between 1916 and1919."
The monument appears as a parallelepiped concrete pillar. In front of it there is a crypt with a black cross made in relief; the inscription of the monument is carved in concrete, and it is painted in black capital letters.
